Every external value StayTurn shows, in the product, on this site, or in an export, carries its source, geography, reference period, build date, methodology reference, and an explicit fallback state. This page is the single place all of that is defined.
A value of one class is never rendered styled as another class.

Every value is a BLS employee wage benchmark: an official government wage estimate, not a market cleaning price, contractor rate, or total turnover cost.

Pack 2026.1 carries national (United States) values only. If you select a state or metro area, StayTurn shows the explicit state "No local benchmark, showing national". It never silently substitutes national for local. Where nothing can be shown, it says "Benchmark not available for your geography" instead of showing a number.
BLS updates OEWS annually. If the bundled pack is older than its staleness threshold (455 days), StayTurn shows "Benchmark may be outdated, built [date]" instead of presenting the stored number as current.
OEWS estimates come from a large BLS employer survey, not a census of every employer. BLS publishes relative standard errors with each estimate (0.3 percent on the national wage estimate used here). Estimates cover wage and salary workers and exclude the self-employed. Full derivation notes ship with the product in BENCHMARK-METHODOLOGY.md.
BLS.gov cannot vouch for the data or analyses derived from these data after the data have been retrieved from BLS.gov.
